J. Christopher Perry
Chief Executive Officer
Chris founded the company in 1999 and leads the company’s Senior Management team.
Chris studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He currently serves on the board of trustees for Norfolk Academy, the Perry Family Foundation, and the Windward Foundation.
Timothy J. Stiffler
President
Tim provides strategic leadership for Suburban Capital’s investment platform and growth initiatives. Additionally, he has direct oversight of portfolio operations, finance, and development. He is a member of the company’s Senior Management team.
Tim is an honors graduate of the University of Virginia and currently serves on the board of trustees for Norfolk Academy.
Marcus B. Lewis
Executive Vice President
Marcus is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all development and construction projects. He also oversees all major renovation projects, including franchise required product improvement plans. He is a member of the company’s Senior Management team.
Marcus has been active in the real estate construction business since 1983. Prior to joining Suburban Capital, he served as Vice President of Development and Construction for a large regional hotel company.
Doug Ellis, Jr.
Senior Vice President
Acquisitions & Development
Doug focuses on implementing and executing Suburban Capital’s acquisitions strategy in the hospitality sector. He is responsible for sourcing all investment opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing the due diligence process.
Doug is a 2004 graduate of The College of William & Mary.
Banning Stiffler
Vice President
Investments
Banning is responsible for Suburban Capital’s investor platform and equity management strategy. This includes deal structuring, equity deployment, and ongoing asset management. Banning also manages Suburban Capital’s corporate financial analysis and strategic initiatives.
Banning is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Christina Dunn
Director
Associate Engagement
Christina has direct oversight for all company human resource functions including associate relations, retention, and recruitment as well as benefits management and training.
Christina has a broad background in property operations and associate management. She earned her CPM designation in 2018 and completed the Cornell Certificate Program for Human Resources Management.
